POLIS successfully completes modernisation of Berliner Allee 48

In the centre of Düsseldorf, not far from the famous Königsallee, POLIS has successfully completed the extensive energy modernisation of the office and commercial building from 1956.

During the construction measures, which were carried out according to the plans of the renowned planning and consulting firm Arup, the annual final energy consumption of the property and thus also the CO₂ emissions were reduced by around 40%. In addition to achieving the standard of KfW Energy Efficiency House 70 the planning and modernisation objective was to create an architecturally sophisticated appearance. At the same time the use of high-quality mineral fibre insulation and optimum sun and glare protection meant that the original layout of the rental areas and their high level of comfort were retained.
